Our May tour kicked off with a visit with our newest sponsor Atelier Vals in Louisville, Kentucky. We toured their showroom and underground production center in an underground cavern facility that rivals any Bond villain’s super lair. Members and Sponsors gathered for an introductory Design Charrette workshop where various luxury pool projects from multiple members were submitted for review by their peers. The half-day event provided opportunity for members to showcase their designs, discuss sales & presentation strategies, review construction documents and display professional project photography. Learning design & business techniques from others in the industry is imperative; while also acquiring valuable construction knowledge from first hand experience.

Tour highlights included a stop at Jeptha Creed Distillery for a behind the scenes tour and tasting at their family owned and operated distillery, an evening at Churchill Downs, and tour of the Louisville Slugger Museum.
